Handles graduate student records, inquiries, initial advising,
graduate teaching fellow contracts, and general support for Graduate
Office. Participates in recruitment committees. Serves as secretary
to Associate Dean/Graduate Advisor, responsible for Associate Dean's
schedule.
Anne Merydith holds a Bachelor of Science in Resource Recreation
Management from Oregon State University and has done postbac coursework
in editing, history, and writing while working at OSU from 1978
to 1993. In 2003, she moved back home to Oregon after working at
the University of Kansas for a little more than nine years. Her
last six years at KU were in the Graduate School and Office of
International Programs where she coordinated special programs,
events, and the award-winning local chapter of an honor society;
edited a leading newsletter in the field of higher ed international
programs, Horizons; and managed databases and supervised
the International Programs website.
From 2000 to 2004, Anne served on the international governing
board for Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars.
She began playing the piano at the age of five and has recently
returned to the instrument with much joy. She is an accomplished
calligrapher and currently teaches through LCC.
