DeNel Stoltz is a marketing graduate from the UO Lundquist College of Business, and joined the School in August 2003 to lead the School’s fundraising operations and special events. Stoltz was a major gifts fundraiser for the UO College of Arts and Sciences 1997-2003. Prior to that, she served as director of development or executive director for several non-profit agencies in Eugene, Oregon.

Stoltz headed the $19.2 million MarAbel B. Frohnmayer Music Building renovation and expansion, which was completed in January 2009. Thanks to private and bonding support for the project, fifty percent more space was added to the existing building. Fundraising continues for new pianos and instruments to finish equipping the new spaces, as  well as to maintain and systematically replace their inventories. Additional priorities for the school include: student scholarships, support for the faculty and curriculum, travel and outreach for ensembles and faculty, and guest artists/master classes.

DeNel is a former high school pianist and flutist, and has been an avid Argentine Tango dancer since 2000.
