Oregon Marine Students Association

The Oregon Marine Students Association (OMSA) is a student-fee funded program whose goal is to enhance the cultural and educational atmosphere of the OIMB campus. OMSA provides or sponsors the following activities: One of the weekly seminar speakers is sponsored by OMSA.Swim pool passes at the North Bend public swimming pool.

Recreational equipment such as exercise machines, volleyballs, soccer balls, basketballs and badminton racquets.

Board games and puzzles.

Crab pots.
Oregon regulations for crabbing state: 3 pots/person, 12 crabs/day/person and only males with a distance of greater than 5 ¾ inches between carapace horns can be kept.
Passes for course related trips to the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport.

Movie night – snacks included!

The Oregonian newspaper

Clothing sales and a T-shirt design contest. Each term, students are encouraged to design a T-shirt for printing. The winner of the best design receives a free shirt! All proceeds from merchandise sales help fund recreational activities and are not directly associated with the ASUO.
