STAFF BIOS

Carla McNelly Administrative Coordinator mcnelly@uoregon.edu Carla McNelly, provides administrative support for the Interim Director, Assistant Director, and professional staff. In addition, she supervises our front office student workers. A native Hooiser, Carla received her BA in Computer Science in 1985 from Indiana State University. Her first job after moving to Oregon in 1996 was in the Department of Romance Languages, where she earned a BA in Romance Languages (Spanish and Italian). Carla recently completed an MA in International Studies, concentrating specifically on human rights issues and the peoples of Honduras. Her final project is a fourteen year oral history titled: The Health Care System of Honduras: A Personal Look. Her other interests include singing in the UO Ensemble and Singer gospel choirs and Inspirational Sounds – Lane County’s premier gospel choir, learning from others, and supporting local and global social justice issues.
