NEW STUDENT FALL RETREAT The annual weekend-long retreat for new students from diverse backgrounds is held early in fall term. The goal of the retreat is to create a smooth transition to college life by creating an inviting atmosphere to introduce students to each other, building friendships, as well as provide exposure to valuable university opportunities and resources. STUDENT LEADERSHIP TEAM The Student Leadership Team is a year long program in which veteran students can apply and interview for a limited number of positions. The Student Leadership Team is responsible for co-coordinating, implementing and evaluating OMAS’ annual Fall Retreat, representing the office at various University of Oregon and OMAS events, and increasing/developing outreach efforts with prospective students, and current student union groups and organizations.
