TUTORING ASSISTANCE

Advisors are able to coordinate tutorial assistance vouchers for students through a long time partnership between OMAS and Teaching Learning Center (TLC). OMAS is able to offer tutor vouchers to students in need of tutorial assistance in biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, and romance languages. Advisors issue vouchers to students who then present the vouchers to TLC for assigned tutorial sessions. Students are encouraged to apply early in the term.

Math and Writing Teaching Assistants

The Office of Multicultural Academic Success (OMAS) has teaching assistants for students who may need extra help in Math 95, 111, 241, 242, 243 as well as WR 121 and 122. Priority preference will be given to students who are currently enrolled in the OMAS math and writing courses.
