Williams
, a native of Idaho, received his Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of Puget Sound
in 2002. Followng a term as a research and teaching assistant at Boise State University he began his Ph.D studies at the University of Oregon in 2005. He expects to complete his
Ph.D in June of 2010.
Academic Interests Peter's
current research interests include economic growth and development with an emphasis on the mechanics of structural change. Current work emphasizes the potential for endogenous credit constraints in a two-sector model to impede development, as well as the role of
the service sector in productivity growth.
