This Assignment is mean for children from grades 3-5. Students working on this project should learn how to:

· Search for things on the internet

· Work with a partner

· Know about the different types of whales

· Be able to compose a project from a collection of information

Computer Time:

Depending on the child, the computer time should not exceed one hour a day for about a week. The information is what should be found fairly fast by the student. The time consuming thing is the project.

Grading Criteria:

This project should be graded mostly on creativity and the student’s ability to find information on a few different web pages. Grading should be of your judgment but should mostly be weighed on Creativity and the Children’s efforts to gather information about a certain whale.
