DuckWeb and Personal Access CodesAll students receive a Personal Access Code (PAC) via mail at the time of application to the university. PACs, along with UO ID numbers, give students access to information and services via a secure web site called DuckWeb. The first time students log into DuckWeb, they are required to select a new six-character PAC containing both alpha and numeric characters and are required to set a security question which can be used in the event that the PAC is forgotten. Students may select a new PAC at any time by using the DuckWeb feature "Change PAC." Students who lose or forget their PAC should use the "Forgot PAC?" button on the DuckWeb login page. Accounts are disabled after three failed attempts at logging in. For assistance, contact the Office of the Registrar. Because personal and academic information is available on DuckWeb, students are strongly encouraged not to share their PAC with friends or family members. |
