Implementation Teams- Definition

We are preparing to implement our first strategic plan for the Division of Student Affairs. As we endeavor to enhance and advance student learning by becoming the preeminent residential university in the United States, we must carefully and thoughtfully plan and strategize next steps. The implementation teams have been charged with building the infrastructure and setting the course for us which will be critical to this effort. Along the way, we must keep as paramount the values that we hold immutable:

  • Responsible Stewardship

Each implementation team has been charged with writing a comprehensive implementation plan that addresses each of the objectives outlined in the strategic plan. The teams have created a timeline denoting activities that will be accomplished in the short term (3 months), medium term (6 months) and long term (12-24 months). The implementation teams will also remain focused on writing an implementation plan and strategy that is division-wide and division- focused, aligned with the university mission and academic plan and visionary and guiding as opposed to operational or departmentally focused.
