1. What are some of the predominant messages that the media send about psychologists? In what ways are these images sometimes inaccurate? Why do you think the inaccurate images are so pervasive?

2. You now know a little about research methods in psychology. Is doing psychology research more like doing research in chemistry or medicine? Why? Explain your answer.

3. Imagine two individuals - a producer of a reality TV show and a psychology researcher. Both aim to say something to the world about human behavior, but the psychology researcher has to follow a number of rules that the TV producer of the reality show does not. What are some of these rules/limitations?
