CLASSES AT SEP WINTER
Classes at SEP Winter will be taught by a group of All-Star instructors from our 2009 sessions, and "guest" instructors who have had a storied history with our programs in the past.
Program seminars will be held at the University of Oregon in various campus classrooms. Class sizes will be from 15-25 students, each. All seminars will be open to all of our applicants unless otherwise noted in the seminar's description.
Each SEP Winter seminar will be offered twice: once in the morning, and once in the afternoon, ensuring that students will likely get to take their seminars of choice. Students will get to register for two seminars each. Class registration will be arena style (similar to how it is done in our summer program), and will begin after students check into the program in the morning and get settled in.
SEP Winter seminar topics are currently available to download from this site.
REGISTERING FOR SEP WINTER
SEP Winter Applications will be mailed out to all SEP 2009 students on October 28, 2009. Application forms, including tuition payments, will be due back to our offices by December 10, 2009. Space in this program is limited to 150 students, so we recommend that students apply early, if possible.
Although this program is designed specifically for returning 2009 students, those students are encouraged to invite someone new to apply to the winter program with them. To this end, a guest application that can be passed along to a friend will be included with each student's registration materials.
TRANSPORTATION TO SEP
We will be offering a limited number of SEP Shuttle spaces for students who live in and around the Portland area. These spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be filled as we receive applications from interested Portland area families.
SEP Shuttle applications will be included as a part of the main application form. Shuttle pick-up and drop-off times and locations will be shared in December with families who have signed up for this service.
We're looking forward to this new Winter offering, and hope that you are too! More information on this program will be available online on Oct 28, when the 2010 application is mailed out, but if you have any questions in the meantime, please feel free to contact our office.
