Disability Assistance & TTY Listings AT&T's Operator Service for TTY (24 hours) (800) 855-1155 Oregon Telecommunications Relay Service. This services is a communications service that links
deaf and hard of hearing people with non-hearing impaired connections via the telephone. To use this service, dial the appropriate number listed above. Give the agent the number you would like to call, and he/she will stay online to relay the conversation. An example is that a deaf user with a TTY needs to deal with the Office of Business Affairs, so they would call the TTY link and the relay operator would translate the TTY information to the business office staff, like a translator. The voice link is the opposite, where the standard caller needs to contact someone with a TTY and uses the relay operator who has a TTY for the contact translation. All calls and information are confidential. This 24-hour relay service is provided at no cost to callers. Long-distance calls will be billed accordingly. Telecommunications Devices Access Program (TDAP). TDAP provides special telecommunications devices for people with hearing, speech, or mobility impairments. Special telecommunications devices are purchased by the State of Oregon and loaned to eligible participants in the program. To apply for TDAP, or for more information about the program call via TTY to (800) 648-3458, voice contact at (800) 848-4442, or write the Oregon Public Utility Commission: TDAP, Oregon PUC CAMPUS TTY NUMBERS(541) 346-1083 Academic Advising
