University of Oregon Advanced Math Placement Test The Advanced Math Placement Test is designed specifically for the student
who has an SAT-Math score of 550 or higher but who believes he/she is
prepared to begin taking math at a level higher than MATH 105/106/107,
MATH 111, or MATH 243. Typically such a student has taken Trigonometry,
Elementary Functions or Calculus at the high school level.
Placement will depend on meeting minimum scores in each of the parts of the test. Your score is simply the total number of correct answers in each part of the test you take. The table below shows the number of correct answers in each part of the test required for placement into introductory math classes. You are allowed up to 50 minutes for this test. Calculators are allowed and retesting is permitted.
