Photography: All aspects of fine art photography: process, theory andhistory. Silver based and non-silver processes; historic (hand-coated) processes, camera based digital imaging techniques, color and black & white darkroom techniques, photo-imaging on non-traditional material (metal, clay, glass, etc.), constructed image technique (darkroom manipulation, added color (toning, tinting, etc) two and three-dimensional image construction.

Art, General: Basic Design, Fundamentals of Drawing, Mixed Media: Collage and Assemblage. Environmental Art. Collaboration. Portfolio development. Business/professional practices for the artist.

Content Specialization: Landscape as subject matter; Art/Photography and the environment; Environmental art; Landscape as a narrative of historical and contemporary cultural, social, and environmental conflict.

International Programs: Teamtaught summer art studio field course in Scotland in conjunction with Glasgow School of Art (Univ. of Oregon); field photography program in Israel for Arava Institute of Environmental Studies (Tel Aviv University).
