Local artist Wayne Chambre created gargoyles for the UO science complex as part of Oregon's One Percent for Art Initiative. The gargoyles that adorn the outside of Cascade, Willamette, Streisinger, and Deschutes halls represent famous scientists and important scientific research programs at the University of Oregon.
