Who Are We?
The University of Oregon Geology Club is a group of people interested in all forms of geology including hard and soft rock geology, petrology, sedimentology, structure, hazards and any other geologic interest you could imagine. We typically meet twice a month in Cascade building on the University of Oregon campus. Everybody is welcome; undergrad and grad students, faculty and staff everybody! You don't have to be a geology major to hang out with us! Our mission is to promote, experience, and enjoy learning about geology through the efforts of our members. Come join us!
What We Do
- Travel to places of geologic interests in a loosly structured way that we can learn the geology of the local area.
- Promote geologic study within the local community by connecting with the community if a variety of ways.
- Have fun!!!
