Equestrian team 2007-2008
We hope you join us to ride, compete and enjoy collegiate life at the University of Oregon! Joining the equestrian team is a great way to improve your equestrian skills, compete as a member of a team, meet new people and travel the Northwest.
The equestrian team competes as a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Associations with other colleges in our region. All classes are judged based on the rider's equitation. As a rider you will select a number that represents a horse, which the host team provides, then compete with out the aid of warm ups or practice round. These competitions challenge the rider and improve confidence making you a stronger, more experienced rider.
Members of the equestrian team need not own their own horse, nor have much experience with horses. Equestrian team provides many opportunities to take lessons, lease horses or work with local barns.
See you at the shows!

We request that everyone demonstrate their riding ability at a "placement tryout". Everyone will make the team; this is just a way for us to ensure new members compete at the correct level. Please click here to email Kaley your name, phone number, email, and what you will be trying out for so that you may be added to the list!
