The InterInstitutional Faculty Senate meets 5 times a year. The UO Senators
on the IFS make regular reports to the UO Senate:

February 2001. This meeting dealt with budgetary matters and proposed
changes to OAR grievance procedures.

April 2001. This was a joint meeting with the IFS/AAUP/AOF. Speakers
included Senator Cliff Trow, Representative Kelley Wirth, Chancellor Joseph
Cox, Senator Tom Hartung, Senator Dave Nelson, Senator Kate Brown, John
Wykoff (OSA), Senator Lenn Hannon, and the Lobbyist Panel (Mark Nelson-AOF,
Dave Barrows-AAUP, Grattan Kerans-OUS). Welcoming remarks were provided
by Greg Monahan (President AOF), Laurel Maughan (President Oregon Conference
AAUP), and the President of OSU.

June 2001. This meeting was hosted by the UO and dealt with budgetary
matters and the role played by faculty as OUS board members.
7/8 December 2001. This meeting was
hosted by PSU and dealt with budgetary matters and the Chancellor search
process.
1/2 February 2002. This meeting dealt
with the budget cuts, the forthcoming special session of the legislature,
and the Chancellor search process. The meeting was hosted by the UO.
27 April 2002. Joint AAUP/AOF/IFS meeting.
Three of the candidates for governor (J. HIll, K. Mannix, J. Roberts) were
there as well as OSU President Rissor, Chancellor Joe Cox, and the lobbyist
panel (M. Nelson, G. Kerans, and T. Barroes).
