Dear Senate Nominating Committee.

I should like to express my sincere appreciation to Michele for
spending time with me this afternoon to go over US09/10-9. I have
done my best to implement the suggestions she made. But I claim no
monopoly of wisdom and I should be most grateful if one of you could
go over the revised version and suggest editorial comments.
