  1. Senator Jane Gray died Sunday January 9 2000. The Senate will observe a moment of silence to commemorate her passing.
  2. Creation of an ad hoc committee (to be chaired by Senate President Gilkey) to deal with motion US9900-8 to revise policy statement 3.130 Extension of Tenure Probationary Period Because of New Baby or Childbirth or Adoption (to come before the UO Senate in February).
  3. Charge to the DSA to rewrite Policy statement 1.000 Granting Honorary Degrees and to add a discussion of the DSA (to come before the Senate in March)
  4. WOU and PSU have passed motions dealing with PEBB similar to those passed by the UO Senate in December.
