Clark Honors College student Bella Albiani doesn’t shy away from complex issues like the link between food insecurity, compromised health, and being unhoused. For two years, Albiani put herself on the front lines at a Eugene facility for people experiencing homelessness. This field study supported her final thesis and involved getting to know the facility’s clients, learning about their histories, and monitoring their health markers. As her project continued, she experienced how change is possible.
