Wayne Morse Federal Courthouse, Eugene, Oregon

We have a new federal courthouse in Eugene, designed by Pritzker-Prize winning architectect Thomas Maynes (mOrphosis). It is generating a lot of conversation.

The Matthew Ritchie light panels are one of my favorite things in the new courthouse. They are done on lenticular acrylic panels, which gives them a holographic effect like the little Crackerjack toys that show a different picture when you change. Watch the video & you'll see lines & shapes appear & disappear.
