10-744 looks exactly like the Comorian nkayamba. Used mostly in popular and spirit-possession music. Usually accompanies a ndzedze (box zither). Can be heard on Smithsonian/Folkways album FE4243 Music of the Comoro Islands--Domoni (by Harriet and Martin Ottenheimer. A small sample can also be heard at the Comoro Islands website www-personal.ksu.edu/~omar/comoros.
