The Untold Story of the Howard Davis House The Howard Davis House is a Eugene landmark. Built in 1990, just a few blocks southeast of the University, it has been honored with its own page in The Great Buildings Collection . It is the focal point of open-house parties and walking tours. It shelters more than seventeen Patterns, visiting faculty members, and Stephen Duff’s piano with equal benevolence. It is beautiful, compact, light, earthy, glowing, welcoming, intriguing, cozy, and fragrant.
