"School Kids Get Early Start to Going Green": On March 2, 2007, a reporter and cameraman from KVAL news visited Ms. Bays' classroom to film a piece about Project Illuminate and the kids we have been working with. The day they visited was Friday, our day of business presentations. The crew filmed our presentations and our informal award ceremony, and afterwards they conducted interviews with a few kids, Comet, and Angie. The piece aired on Thursday, March 8, 2007 during the six o'clock news. At some point during our class time next term, we are also expecting a reporter from the Register-Guard, our local Eugene newspaper. Below is a freeze-frame of Comet taken from the news piece.
