The Provost’s Council develops any proposals for academic modification, based data and shared criteria.

Enterprise Business ProcessesFinance and Administration is actively examining opportunities for savings in business processes, specifically in Accounting, HR, and other services where greater efficiency could deliver savings.

Provost Council and AMAC continue meetings. Business process savings initiative and advisory group convenes. Academic proposals move from Provost’s Council to AMAC.
- september-october 2026Academic Units and Schools
The Provost Council (which includes all Deans and vice-provosts) evaluates possible modifications to academic programs or offerings as well as budget reduction scenarios (for example 5, 10%, 15%). The information gathered through these scenarios can reveal possible cross-unit savings and prevent units from reducing their budgets in isolation from effects on other units. Criteria and guiding principles are set.

Enterprise Business ProcessesAn Advisory group made up has been created to help inform proposals for enterprise-level savings opportunities identified by the Business Processes work.
